About RetroHunting.Club
RetroHunting.Club started unexpectedly while I was planning a family trip to Japan. One evening, while watching travel videos, I stumbled upon Japan's vibrant retro gaming culture. That led me down a nostalgic rabbit hole filled with Casio handheld games from the 1980s, Casio game watches, Game Boys, Ataris, Segas, and more. It reignited a passion—especially for the Casio handhelds and game watches I grew up with.
As I began collecting them, I quickly realized how hard it was to find a single, reliable catalog or database for these devices. That gap is what inspired me to start building my own collection database—scraping websites, organizing details, collecting images, and documenting their history. That's how RetroHunting.Club was born.
While the journey began with Casio, I hope to grow this into a broader archive that includes retro gaming consoles, vintage computers, Walkmans, audio gear, and more iconic electronics from the 1970s to early 2000s.
